Experience Our Community at Emmanuel Melbourne
We’re excited you’re thinking of visiting one of our ministries at Emmanuel Melbourne. There’s a lot going on in our church community and we know it can be difficult to find a place to serve. Feel free to get in touch to find out more and to discover all the ways to be the hands and feet of Christ.
Adult Ministries.
Book Club.
Emmanuel Melbourne Book Club is a monthly gathering in room 7 where we explore faith, wisdom, and personal growth through the power of books. Together we dive into a new book—whether it's a Christian classic, a thought-provoking devotional, or an inspiring story—and come together for meaningful discussion and reflection. Join us as we deepen our understanding, share insights, and encourage one another on our faith journey. All are welcome! Please reach out to Janet Kull with any questions. janetparalegal@yahoo.com
Women's Ministry.
Women in Faith is a monthly gathering on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in room 7. This is where women come together to deepen their faith, grow in God’s Word, and uplift one another through prayer and fellowship. This is a space to connect, share, and be encouraged as we navigate life together with Christ at the center. Whether you're seeking spiritual growth, community, or a time of refreshment, you are welcome here. Join us as we strengthen our faith and one another! Women's Ministry meets the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00pm
Lunch Bunch.
Lunch Bunch is a monthly gathering where we come together for good food and great fellowship at different restaurants around the area. It’s a time to connect, share life, and enjoy meaningful conversations in a relaxed setting. Whether you're new or have been part of our community for years, all are welcome to join us for laughter, encouragement, and a delicious meal. Come hungry and ready for fellowship! Willing Hands Ministry.
Willing Hands is a group of people who crochet, knit or sew and use their gifts to create lap blankets, prayer shawls and quilts for those in need of comfort and encouragement. Each handmade piece is prayed over before being given to individuals facing illness, hardship, a birth or simply needing a little pick-me-up. Through stitches of love and threads of faith, we share God's warmth and care, one blanket at a time. Whether you're an expert or just learning, all are welcome to join us in this ministry of compassion. Gail Allen at 240-888-2469 with a need or interest to participate in the ministry.
Men' Ministry.
Men’s Breakfast is a monthly gathering and will meet the 2nd Saturday of each month in Corton Hall where men come together for a hearty breakfast, meaningful fellowship, and spiritual growth. Join us as we dive into God’s Word, engage in uplifting discussions, and support one another through prayer. Whether you're looking for encouragement, connection, or simply a good meal with great company, this is a time to strengthen your faith and build lasting friendships. All men are welcome—come hungry and ready to grow!
Small Groups.
You were made for community.
But, finding community in today’s world might be harder than ever before. Small groups invite each person to a journey to know, love, and serve God… together. You don’t have to have it all figured out—you can ask hard questions, embrace doubts, and grow alongside others on the same journey.
The small group is designed to equip you to study scripture, practice the Five Essentials of Christian faith, and change the world through community, connection, and serving others.
